"I have been coming to Little Gasparilla Island for over ten years. I have rented homes and condos. Last year I rented from the Santana’s and it was one of our very best experiences. Condo was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Golf cart included! I felt so good about our experience that I rented again and will continue to rent from this wonderful family! The Hideaway Beach Condos on Little Gasparilla Island reminds us of Old Florida. Quaint, yellow condos attached side by side in a curve with a pond in the middle. They have a cottage like feel both inside and out. No cars, no restaurants, no grocery stores and only 1 Gift shop on the island. You need to want to get away and just relax to enjoy this island. Great for families – it feels very safe. If you don’t want to cook and need to go out to eat every day and/or enjoy a night life, this isn’t the place for you. Very laid back and quiet in the evenings.
Our condo had a view of the pond and ocean. The condo had all the basics needed for our stay.
Kitchen had ample pots/pans, utensils & glasses. Beds were comfortable, Cable TV, sand toys, beach chairs and umbrellas. The golf cart is a must for getting around the island. The screened porch was great for watching sunsets and enjoying the balmy evenings.
Our owner, Orlando, was very informative throughout our rental process and helped remedy a few minor problems we encountered during our stay.
The beach was fabulous! Great for walking, shelling and finding shark teeth. The pool was warm and clean and kid friendly. We met lots of friendly people. Ferry Captains were helpful and ferry schedule prompt. We went on and off island for groceries and restaurants numerous times.
We saw dolphins, gopher tortoise and osprey. My husband did lots of beach and dock fishing though he only caught catfish. Better fishing days ahead! We are coming back to the island next year.--Gail P, North Prairie, WI.

"Quiet Island Vacation"
My husband, myself and three friends recently stayed on Little Gasparilla Island. We were really pleased with the small island atmosphere. There are no cars on the island but we rented a golf cart for a very reasonable rate from the owner of the condo that we rented. It has a beautiful beach and lots of shells to find. Our condo, H-3 which is owned by Orlando Santana, was comfortable and had everything you would need including beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. The evenings were quiet and you could see the stars. It had excellent ferry service, which is free for guest at the condos. The ferry had a very accommodating schedule. Our time spent there went by too fast but we know that we will make it a must do vacation every winter. --Cheryl H from Madison, IN
We had a fabulous time at Santana's Getaway!!! It was very comfortable, with lots of extras. Orlando was very friendly, and followed up with us to be sure we had safely arrived and were able to access everything with ease. He was very eager to be sure we were well taken care of, and genuinely seemed to want to be sure we had a fabulous vacation. We hope to return in the near future. We spent the week relaxing in the sunshine, with no worries! This unit is located at the front of the property, providing views of the gulf in the day, and at night, the relaxing sound of the waves when sitting on the screened lanai. The ferry service was prompt, with very friendly captains. The provided golf cart allowed us to explore the island, as well as lighten our load when transporting groceries and luggage. The provided washer and dryer were a life saver with this impromptu trip, as we packed light! We enjoyed this little slice of paradise, and felt right at home. ..Shannon P, Lima,Ohio
